Almaria & Tiffany Of Baltimore won 2 of 3 games in the Preliminary Rounds, they then swept through the "Sweet 16" Playoffs, to win the New York Main Event Championship.This team recently won their first national tournament when they took 1st place in the 2006 DC Saturday Night Fever Tournament.
They are the founders of the BWI Whistmasters Bid Whist Club Of Maryland.
Fifty teams participated in the Main Event, which elevated the 1st Place Prize from $2000 to $2500. (See the Preliminary Round results at the bottom of this page).
The Main Event Tournament was part of the Bicycle Playing Cards New York City Bid Whist Weekend held June 2-3, 2006. Congratulations to Almaria & Tiffany.
