Orlando Fathers Day Bid Whist Tournament Winners

O'TOWN Players Bid Whist Club Of Orlando

On Saturday, June 17, 2006, the O’Town Players Bidwhist Club of Orlando held their second annual tournament in historic Eatonville, Florida. It is safe to say a good time was had by all. There were door prizes, hors d'oeuvres, a fantastic buffet, and a lot of exciting card playing. In addition to the raffle and door prize drawings of more than 15 gifts, the Free Entry Drawing was won by Max Lewis of Ft. Lauderdale.

The turn out was even bigger than last year. The support from our fellow bidwhist players was very gratifying. Teams came from Orlando, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Titusville and Atlanta. And even Slammer from the Bahamas was in the house.

2005 first place winners Paulette Kendrick & Fernando Scott from Miami; second place winners Sally Glover & Sharon Pollard from Orlando; third place winners Rick Kendrick & Chester Stover from Miami; and fourth place winners Kenny Wright & Poe Lindsey from the O’Town Players all returned to defend their titles.

This year’s winners were victorious over last year’s winners and shared our biggest prize yet of $2500.00.

2nd Place - Oliver Agostini & Lucy White (Tampa) - $800
3rd Place - Nikki Morgan & Kenny Morgan (Miami) - $300
4th Place - Patrenia Graham & Slammer (Atlanta & Bahamas) - $200

2006 Minneapolis Bid Whist Weekend Winners

The Killer B's Win Two
1st Place Medals
The Killer B's (Bruce & Ben) of Atlanta, traveled to Minneapolis to compete in the Bicycle Playing Cards Minneapolis Bid Whist Weekend. The tournaments were held June 30-July 1, 2006.

The Killer B's won $2000 in the Main Event Tournament. They also won 1st Place in the Friday Night Special Tournament. In addition, they took 2nd Place in the Early Bird Special Tournament. Congratulations to the Killer B's of Atlanta.

Nessie & Lenora Placed In All Four Tournaments
Nessie & Lenora of New York. won the 1st place medal in the Early Bird Special Tournament. They also took 2nd place in the Friday Night Special Tournament. They took home 4th Place in the Main Event Tournament, and they took home 2nd Place in the Saturday Night Fever Tournament. Congratulations to Nessie & Lenora.

Negaya & Letita Win The
Saturday Night Fever

Negaya & Letita of Minnesota won the Saturday Night Fever Tournament. In fact, they were the only Minnesota team to take home a 1st Place prize. When they received their medals and 1st place money, they said "look out Minnesota players, we have arrived" Congratulations Negaya & Letita.
