On Saturday, June 17, 2006, the O’Town Players Bidwhist Club of Orlando held their second annual tournament in historic Eatonville, Florida. It is safe to say a good time was had by all. There were door prizes, hors d'oeuvres, a fantastic buffet, and a lot of exciting card playing. In addition to the raffle and door prize drawings of more than 15 gifts, the Free Entry Drawing was won by Max Lewis of Ft. Lauderdale.
The turn out was even bigger than last year. The support from our fellow bidwhist players was very gratifying. Teams came from Orlando, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Titusville and Atlanta. And even Slammer from the Bahamas was in the house.
2005 first place winners Paulette Kendrick & Fernando Scott from Miami; second place winners Sally Glover & Sharon Pollard from Orlando; third place winners Rick Kendrick & Chester Stover from Miami; and fourth place winners Kenny Wright & Poe Lindsey from the O’Town Players all returned to defend their titles.
This year’s winners were victorious over last year’s winners and shared our biggest prize yet of $2500.00.

1st Place – Marlo & Mike (Miami) - $1,200
2nd Place - Oliver Agostini & Lucy White (Tampa) - $800
3rd Place - Nikki Morgan & Kenny Morgan (Miami) - $300
4th Place - Patrenia Graham & Slammer (Atlanta & Bahamas) - $200
We look forward to seeing everyone for a rematch next year!
